DENTAL IMPLANTS
Dental implant procedures and technology have become much more common today and continue to increase in predictability and reliability. If you are missing a tooth, an implant is a very effective, long-term option to restore function or esthetics. Unlike dental bridges or partial dentures, an implant doesn’t rely on other teeth for its function.
To “place” an implant, a titanium post is surgically placed in the bone and a healing cap is placed on top. After 3-6 months of healing the implant is stable enough to have a crown placed on it. A simple (non-invasive) impression or scan is taken and sent to a dental lab for fabrication. The permanent crown is received within 3-4 weeks and attached to the implant.
IMPLANT CROWNS
Implant crowns, the final restoration step after dental implants have been placed, are custom-made to closely resemble natural teeth in shape, size, and color. This design ensures that the crowns restore function and enhance aesthetics, providing a confident smile. Attached to an abutment, which serves as a connector between the implant and the crown, these crowns are made from durable materials like porcelain or zirconia, offering long-lasting results with proper care and maintenance.
IMPLANT BRIDGES
The Implant Bridge is a unique dental bridge that is supported by a dental implant instead of natural teeth. This fixed restoration is capable of replacing several teeth that are missing in a row, thus restoring shape and function to the mouth. Unlike conventional bridges that utilize surrounding natural teeth as supports, an implant bridge is supported by implants that are surgically positioned into the jawbone, offering superior strength, function, and most importantly, durability. Implant bridges are carefully crafted from porcelain or zirconia, enhancing a patient’s smile and bringing back proper chewing function, resulting in better oral health and improved self-esteem.

Full mouth restorations typically take multiple visits, but are well worth the investment once treatment is complete and function is restored. We will help you create a good home oral care routine to maintain the health and appearance of your new smile.
