• What does FFS mean?
  • FFS is Fee for Service.
  • What is the Fee for Service?
    • “Fee for Service” is a payment procedure that pays doctors and other healthcare providers for each service they give.
    • We are a “Fee for Service” provider, which means payment is due at the time of service.
  • What if I have insurance?
    • You are still welcome to visit our office! Gray Oak Family Dental is not currently “in-network,” but we will gladly submit the necessary reimbursement paperwork to your insurance provider on your behalf. Depending on your coverage, a substantial portion may still be covered by your insurance.
    • Prior to treatment, we are happy to submit a “pre-determination” inquiry with your insurance to get an estimate on your reimbursement benefit.
    • At the time of service, you make a payment in-office and our team will submit an insurance reimbursement claim on your behalf. Your insurance will then reimburse you directly for the covered services.
  • What if I do not have insurance?
    • No problem! You can make a payment at the time of service or apply for CareCredit® financing. 
  • What are my payment options?
    • We gladly accept cash, check, credit card or CareCredit® payments.
  • What if I cannot make payment at the time of service?
    • We understand some dental expenses are unexpected. We will do everything we can to help you get the treatment you need. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at 903-892-0593 to discuss any questions or concerns about payments.
    • We are certified to offer CareCredit® as a financing option. See below.
  • What is CareCredit®?
    • CareCredit® is a flexible and convenient financing option for patients who qualify. (A credit check is required.) There are no annual fees or upfront costs. Patients can choose between different payment options and the secure online portal is a convenient, safe way to make monthly payments.

    • We believe treatment decisions are best made between you and your dental expert, Dr. Dave Firmage. He will take the time to understand your unique situation and discuss all treatment options with you prior to any services being performed.
    • Dr. Dave Firmage has received advanced training in a number of difficult procedures and is thus able to offer additional services that many general dentists do not. (Which means our team can handle most dental issues without having to refer you to another provider.)
